Scott Cousins
An exceptional left-back who regained his place in the side at the start of September following a prolonged lay off after suffering a broken leg at Tamworth in January 2006. Began his career with Queens Park Rangers before spending five years with Chelsea. Joined the Saints in the summer of 2004 after a season with Hendon and had spells with Harrow Borough and Wealdstone during his rehabilitation in 2006-07. After a couple of years coaching at the David Beckham Academy in Greenwich the summer of 2007 saw him join the coaching staff at the St Albans-based Oaklands College, which partakes in the PASE scheme. A return to his best form during the second half of the season was capped with the Player of the Month award for April 2008.
