At Chelmsford yesterday the home club won by five goals to one. In the first half Chelmsford monopolised the attacks, nearly all the members of the team getting shots at goal, but nothing resulted. The second half was very one-sided, Beach and Hance each scoring twice and Hoy one for Chelmsford. Weston broke through and scored a clever goal for St Albans in the last minute.

Reports of this game cannot be traced in local papers covering the St Albans and Chelmsford areas. Therefore the complete line-ups for both teams would appear to be lost forever. |
