In one of the best matches of the season St Albans City gained a most creditable victory, defeating the 3rd Grenadier Guards by 6-2. As might be guessed, the soldier team was composed of big players and on Saturday they did not fail to use their weight. But the City were far too quick for them and much more sure in front of goal.
