The St Albans City team travelled to Luton on Wednesday when they engaged in a Spartan League contest with the Clarence on the Luton Town ground and were beaten by the homesters by two goals to nil. It was a fair representation of the play, the Luton Clarence having decidedly the better of the exchanges. The homesters team included five reserves while W.Richardson appeared at outside-right for the City.
