East Ham were fully worthy of the draw of 3-3 they accomplished with St Albans City at Clarence Park on Saturday. The result was as unexpected as it was meritorious, the Hammers having gone down badly on their two previous visits to St Albans(1). This season, however, their eleven is much stronger and play good football. On Saturday they made the most of their opportunities. The homesters did not on the other hand and had it not been for a great equalising effort on the part of their captain, the City would have lost both points. There were two changes from the St Albans eleven which lost at Aylesbury, Hughes returning to centre-forward vice Hillyard and Glenister playing at inside-right in place of Hammond, who was unable to play through illness.
