Match report
The St Albans City team played the concluding match of their Spartan League Easter programme on Easter Monday afternoon at Clarence Park.
A large crowd assembled to witness only a moderate game. There were two changes in the home team which did so well at Chesham on the previous Saturday.
Palmer occupied the position at right back vacated by S.Hatton and W.Figg(1) was seen at left-half in place of A.Michell.

Reprinted from “The Herts Advertiser and St Albans Times” 29th March 1913.

1 William George Figg died during the Great War on 31st October 1918. He was 27 years of age and is buried at the Vichte Military Cemetery in Belgium.
