On Saturday St Albans City paid their second visit of the week to Waterlow’s sports ground Dunstable, when they encountered the local printing works’ team. Scully put in a surprise appearance, having journeyed from Portsmouth. On the run of the play, the City were well worth their two goal victory. Waterlows Amateur, who lost by the only goal scored in their match at Leavesden in the previous round, put up a good fight, but they were not quite as clever as the City in midfield.
