“WANDERERS OVERWHELM ST ALBANS CITY”At High Wycombe last Saturday a crowd, officially returned at 3,000, eagerly awaited the arrival of the City. Every pint of vantage was taken up by the spectators, the commodious stand being packed to repletion. Owing to the long journey and the heavy character of the roads the City arrived late, but the tedium of waiting was whiled away by the Wycombe Town Band, who discoursed lively music. It was arranged to play forty minutes each way.
