Son of Harold Figg, Roger was born in Park Street and joined the Saints briefly for the 1958-59 season after a successful spell at Hitchin Town. Returned to Top Field before joining Barnet where he stayed for almost 9 years and was a prolific goalscorer.

Won 9 caps for England Amateurs in the 1960's.

Roger sadly passed away on the 31st January 2025.
