Percy Hansard made just three appearances for St Albans City during the 1929-30 season but marked his debut, at home to Kingstonian on 26th October, with a goal during a 4-2 Isthmian League defeat. He featured in two further First team matches during November, both of which were lost heavily; 4-0 to Wycombe Wanderers at Loakes Park and then 5-1 at Clarence Park against Ilford. He also made six appearances for the City Reserves where he averaged a goal a game. Percy’s final appearance in a City shirt was an Isthmian League Reserve team fixture that saw him score during a 6-3 reverse against Wimbledon at Plough Lane. After leaving Clarence Park, Percy signed for Enfield and scored twice on his debut on 8th February 1930. Upon leaving Enfield in 1936 he signed for Wealdstone.
