Laurence was appointed Walton & Hersham manager at the beginning of 2006.
After being with Fulham and Brentford,
he went on to win an Isthmian League championship medal, three FA Trophy
winners medals and England semi-professional caps in a long career with
Woking.
Later played for Chesham United, St. Albans City, Maidenhead United
and Molesey.
