Benjamin Mensah
Benji Mensah was born in Seriate, Italy, and is of Ghanaian descent.

Comfortable as a right-back or right-wing back, Benji has pace to burn, a desire to get forward and support the attack with the athleticism to fulfil the demands of the modern-day defender.

He was educated at the Northampton Academy, during which time he played for Aston Villa’s academy, before joining Peterborough United.

On 12 November 2019, Benji made his debut for Peterborough in a 2–1 EFL Trophy win against rivals Cambridge United. He signed a two-and-a-half-year professional contract with the club on 29 December 2020, one day before his 18th birthday. However, he was hindered by frustrating hamstring injuries in 2021 and was released by Peterborough at the end of the 2022/23 season.
